The site is recognized for its specialization in non-sterile liquids, soft gelatin capsules, and new competencies in dry powder inhalers (DPI).

With a strong focus on quality and innovation, Medana continues to grow through ongoing investments in infrastructure, automation, and advanced pharmaceutical technologies. It plays an important role in the Group’s development efforts through its dedicated on-site R&D center.

In 2020, the facility expanded its manufacturing capabilities with the launch of a modern non-sterile liquid production area, further enhancing its strength in oral formulations.Medana holds EU GMP and HACCP certifications, ensuring full compliance with pharmaceutical and food-grade quality standards. It offers end-to-end contract manufacturing services — from formulation and analytical development to production and packaging — tailored to the needs of internal and external partners.
